Sister Chris Stanoch asked our Sacristan, Tallia Miller, to share this:
“My husband and I recently went on a three-week pilgrimage around Europe. Even though we were only there for one day, Assisi, Italy, was one of the favorite places we visited. While walking along the streets, it made so much sense that this was where Saint Francis lived. The town itself was humble, holy, and full of grace. Franciscan Friars and Sisters from different orders were all over Assisi. The whole town was built on prayer and faith. We went and prayed in the Churches in Assisi and visited the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis. Intercessory Prayer was a big part of my pilgrimage, and it was a blessing to spend my time praying before each Tabernacle for others. This trip was a gift, and God blessed us abundantly here.” Click Here for more information on Carlos Acutis.
Sister Dawn Kling completed her final incorporation into the Rochester Franciscan Community on August 10th in Lourdes Chapel.
