Assisi Heights Spirituality Center Hosts Week-Long Retreat on Mystical Wisdom and Spiritual Growth
Rochester, MN — The Assisi Heights Spirituality Center invites the public to a transformative, week-long retreat, Meditating with the Mystics: How Wisdom from the Past Inspires Spiritual Growth Today, led by acclaimed spiritual teacher Carl McColman. The retreat will take place Thursday, May 14, at 6:30 p.m. through Wednesday, May 20, at noon, with both in-person and virtual options available. The retreat is offered in two parts. Part One (May 14–17) focuses on Franciscan mystics, drawing inspiration from figures such as Francis of Assisi, Clare of Assisi, Thea Bowman, Ilia Delio, and Richard Rohr. Part Two (May 17–20) highlights the wisdom of great women mystics, including Julian of Norwich, Teresa of Ávila, Evelyn Underhill, and Cynthia Bourgeault.
