Marian’s mission serves to support the spiritual growth and well-being of all people, but she especially hopes to make the world a better place for women. Her broad career, mostly in higher education, has focused on spirituality, scripture, women’s theological perspectives, social justice and ministerial formation. Her dissertation in 2003 developed intercultural approaches to ministerial formation. Her work has involved engagement at all levels of the Catholic church structure, from the local to the global. She has taught and presented widely and offered retreats on a variety of topics.

Marian is the founder of Diamond Hill Coaching, where she offers coaching, spiritual direction and consulting for a variety of clients. Marian is also the mother of four adult children and she enjoys reading and writing, hiking, biking, kayaking and cooking (mostly vegan these days!)
