Kathy is a Parish Nurse at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rochester, Minnesota. She received her Master’s Degree in Nursing and Nursing Education from the University of MN and her Clinic Nurse Specialist in Adult Health from Winona State University. She has spent over 40 years in acute health care, working across the continuum of care with cardiac patients and their families. In her parish nursing role, Kathy plans educational programs and leads support groups, within her congregation, along with visiting the homebound and elderly. Kathy’s passion is to empower individuals to reach and maintain health and wellness, physically, mentally, and spiritually, living their lives to the fullest.

Kathy and her husband, David, have three adult children and five grandchildren.
