Artyce Thomas has served as Executive Director of the Women’s Shelter and Support Center since August 2019, leading a domestic violence program that supports survivors across a 10-county region in Southeastern Minnesota. She brings more than two decades of experience in survivor-centered leadership, advocacy, and organizational management. Prior to joining WSSC, Artyce was the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Immigrant and Refugee Women’s Network (PAIRWN) in Harrisburg, where she led transformative efforts to empower immigrant and refugee women and children, advance equity and inclusion, and cultivate emerging community leaders. She also previously served as Executive Director of the Women’s Help Center in western Pennsylvania, overseeing residential domestic violence services across a three-county region. Artyce currently serves on the Board of Directors for Violence Free Minnesota, contributing to statewide advocacy and systems-level change. Throughout her career, she has remained deeply committed to amplifying survivors’ voices and driving meaningful, systemic social change.
