April 24, 11:00am-12:00pm (Central Time)
No charge to attend.
Registration Deadline: April 22 (A link will be sent to you one day prior to the event)
Homeschooling gives you control of the schedule, pace, and content for your child’s learning experience. If distance learning and hybrid classrooms haven’t been a good fit for your family, maybe you’d like another option? We’ll go over the MN requirements (short list) for homeschoolers and talk about the range of choices within those requirements. Homeschooling lets you adapt to your child’s learning strengths and struggles, and you don’t have to go it alone. There are groups and online resources to help you along. And yes, you can homeschool multiple ages and not pull your hair out. Bring your questions and get answers! We will also touch on creative curriculum ideas, tax deductions, how to find what you need, and cost saving ideas for all ages.
By Kim Jaworski, Homeschool Resource Specialist
Kim homeschooled her now grown sons and has worked in the homeschool community for 20 years, providing testing services, coaching, and workshops to homeschoolers and conferences across MN and beyond. This workshop is free and nothing is being sold. After the presentation, Kim will answer as many questions as possible in the time allowed. If you send your questions with your registration, we will begin with those.
