Stations and Stories (Single Session) (Via Zoom)
March 10, 6:30pm-8:00pm (Central Time)
Donations accepted.
Registration Deadline: March 8 (A link will be sent to you one day prior to the session)
During this Lenten season, we will use the Stations of the Cross as a foundation to reflect on our own spiritual journeys in terms of stations. Whether it be stations of faith, stations of doubt, stations of grief, death, or some significant development in your life.
Using words or imagery, you are encouraged to enter the process that the Irish poet Padraig O’Tuama describes, “By taking a Gospel text and putting personal stations to it, a dialogue between reader and story takes place and something called prayer emerges in the time place. There we encounter the heart. There we meet… the place where wisdom we didn’t know we had can greet us. There we can greet that which we call God.”
Session facilitator: Helen Jax Jackson, Eugene, Oregon. Wife, mother, grandmother, corrections chaplain, retired clinical mental health social worker. Striving to see Christ in every living thing and sometimes succeeding.
