Fall in love with the art of hand-lettering with local artist and lettering enthusiast, Amy Krause of A. Krause Studio. In this introductory class, you will learn basic hand-lettering and modern calligraphy techniques that can be applied to a wide variety of creative projects along with exploring lettering with a paintbrush. No previous experience is necessary. Just come ready to dive into the joy of creative expression.
Supplies will be provided.
Amy Krause of A. Krause Studio is a Rochester-based artist whose body of work explores social justice issues, mental health advocacy, cultivating belonging, and connecting to her Korean American heritage. She has a degree in fine art painting from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire and specializes in acrylic paint, watercolors, digital art, murals, and art classes. Amy has a passion for creating more diverse and inclusive spaces so that others can feel seen and be known. Her mission is to use art to build connections, foster growth, and promote healing.
