Thursday, November 12 | 6:00-8:00pm
FREE | In-Person
Presenters: Kathy Connelly & Enid Weichselbaum
The holiday season often brings joy, connection, and celebration—but for those experiencing loss, it can also amplify feelings of sadness, loneliness, and longing. Managing Grief During the Holidays is a compassionate and insightful presentation designed to help individuals navigate this emotionally complex time.
Through heartfelt discussion, practical coping strategies, and gentle reflection, this session explores how to honor loved ones, set healthy boundaries, and find moments of peace amid the festivities. Participants will gain tools to communicate their needs with family and friends and create meaningful traditions that support healing.
Whether grieving a recent loss or carrying the memory of someone special, this presentation offers a safe space to acknowledge pain, embrace self-care, and rediscover hope during the holiday season.
Please be sure to allow a few extra minutes to pick up your visitor badge, as all guests at Assisi Heights are required to wear a badge during their visit.
We ask all who enter Assisi Heights to recognize that this is the home of the Sisters of Saint Francis. Please be respectful of the property as well as the health of those around you and refrain from attending events if you are sick.
