Human trafficking and child sexual abuse are still here. It is easier than ever for predators to gain access to children’s trust, making them vulnerable to attack and manipulation. Join Andrea White with Olmsted County Victim Services and Aubree Derksen with the University of Minnesota Extension to learn more about this issue and how we can help in the fight against in-person and online grooming. Participants will leave with practical tools and digital literacy resources to help them confidently support safe, informed, and positive online experiences for the youth in their lives.
Includes a light lunch and beverages.
Registration for all classes closes two (2) days prior to the scheduled event to allow adequate preparation time. We encourage you to register early to secure your spot.
Please be sure to allow a few extra minutes to pick up your visitor badge, as all guests at Assisi Heights are required to wear a badge during their visit.
