Death Cafe
Tuesday, September 22| 3:00-5:00pm
FREE | In-Person
Presenter: Kathy Connelly and Enid Weichselbaum
A Death Café is a relaxed, open-hearted gathering where people come together to talk about death, dying, and living—over tea and treats. It’s not a counseling session or a support group, but a safe, welcoming space to share thoughts, experiences, and questions about mortality. The goal is simple: to increase awareness of death in order to help us make the most of our (finite) lives. Each conversation unfolds naturally, offering connection, perspective, and often surprising lightness around a topic we all share but rarely discuss.
Please be sure to allow a few extra minutes to pick up your visitor badge, as all guests at Assisi Heights are required to wear a badge during their visit.
We ask all who enter Assisi Heights to recognize that this is the home of the Sisters of Saint Francis. Please be respectful of the property as well as the health of those around you and refrain from attending events if you are sick.
Registration for all classes closes two (2) days prior to the scheduled event to allow adequate preparation time. We encourage you to register early to secure your spot.
