Presenter: Cathy Ashton, Compassionate Rochester, MN

Inspired by How Compassion Works: A Step-by-Step Guide to Cultivating Well-Being, Love, and Wisdom, this three-part series explores compassion as a transformative practice for personal and communal well-being. Through guided meditation, reflection, and discussion, participants will learn practical tools for cultivating greater care, wisdom, and connection. Session one focuses on creating a field of care through deepening receptivity and inner support. Session two expands that field to include oneself, loved ones, strangers, and all beings. The final session explores how compassion can inspire meaningful action in daily life and the wider world.

Participants are encouraged to purchase and read How Compassion Works: A Step-by-Step Guide to Cultivating Well-Being, Love, and Wisdom by John Makransky and Paul Condon. In addition, a summary guide will be offered for each meeting.

We encourage you to register as soon as possible. Programs that do not meet the minimum enrollment two days before the scheduled date will be cancelled.

We ask all who enter Assisi Heights to recognize that this is the home of the Sisters of Saint Francis. Please be respectful of the property as well as the health of those around you and refrain from attending events if you are sick.
