This three-part documentary series is created by Fight The New Drug. It demonstrates how pornography can negatively influence individuals, relationships, and society. This film is designed to reach youth, parents, and the community at-large. Learn about the addictive nature of pornography and how it is a contributing factor to sexual violence and connected to human trafficking. Discover ways to navigate challenging conversations with youth on pornography.
A panel of local professionals will lead the audience discussion.
Neil Dennison, is the Violence Prevention Specialist/Volunteer Coordinator for Victim Services. He has been with Victim Services for 7.5 years and has a B.S. in Social Work and a Master’s in Educational Leadership. He primarily gives sexual violence prevention presentations in Dodge, Fillmore, and Olmsted Counties and communities.
Dr. Kristen S. Vickers, Ph.D., L.P., a Clinical Psychologist in Sexual Medicine at Mayo Clinic, will share observations from her clinical practice of how she sees pornographic literature used and what she recommends when it becomes a problem.
