Author Virginia Wright-Peterson will speak about the rich history in her book, exploring how women stepped beyond traditional roles to serve as nurses, journalists, pilots, factory workers, cryptologists, and peace activists. Through compelling personal stories—from Pearl Harbor to the dropping of the atomic bomb—we’ll gain a deeper understanding of how women shaped the wartime experience both at home and abroad. Join us for a fascinating look at the courage, resilience, and lasting impact of women whose contributions helped define a generation.
