A Retreat with St. Clare: Finding her Light, Hearing her Song

Program runs from Sunday, May 23 at 6:30pm thru Saturday, May 29 at 11:30am.

Sister Margaret will use her new biography, Light in Assisi: The Story of St. Clare as the framework of this retreat.

The retreat will:

1. Use the story of St. Clare to inspire today’s Franciscans and provide reflection and inspiration for their life and work.

2. Stimulate reflection on the little-known aspects of Clare’s life and provide new ways to consider the best-known stories of her life.

3. Link the inspiration from St. Clare to the new encyclical, Fratelli tutti, thus inviting a fuller understanding of the Franciscan woman’s role facing present crises in the nation and church.

Light in Assisi: The Story of St. Clare, by Sister Margaret Carney, will be published by Franciscan Media in the Spring of 2021.
