Sisters of Saint Francis Rochester Minnesota

O God, make me an instrument of your peace;

Who are the Rochester Franciscans?

We believe... that God is revealed through all people, and all of creation. Inspired by a rich spiritual heritage and strengthened through our community life, our 380 Sisters and our 100 Cojourners work for a better world for all.

We act... you'll find us with the people in the inner-city of Chicago, Illinois, or in Charleston, South Carolina, and where there is need around the US and the world. We are therapists and administrators, students and lawyers, artists and writers. We serve in education and health care, in churches and parishes, and on institutional and community boards. Through our prayers many are supported, healed, and nurtured. Wherever we minister, we learn as we educate, are healed as we heal, and are changed as we pray and act with compassion.
